Catalpa

The Northern Catalpa is a very hardy and resilient tree and is a great choice for an urban yard or boulevard. They are fairly tolerant of drought, poor drainage, and road salt. Catalpas grow relatively quickly and their huge leaves make them an excellent choice for providing shade. Their large, showy, and aromatic flowers make them attractive to local pollinators.
